So how many of you out there drank your water this week? Do you feel better?
I drank as much as I could and I have to say I feel much better. Definitely the fog is lifting.
This weeks tip is a bit more expensive but worth it for more than your brain fog.
Get your Omegas!
Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids are important for your brain to function properly. They are found in high concentrations in the brain. They contribute to memory and performance. Deficiency in infants during pregnancy can cause vision and nerve problems. A few of the symptoms of omega-3 deficiency include
fatigue, poor memory, dry skin, heart problems, mood swings or depression, and poor circulation. Research also shows that omega-3 helps reduce inflammation, and possibly even lowers the risk of heart disease, cancer and arthritis.

As nursing Mothers, we give many of our nutrients to our baby. Omega-3 is very important for them to develop proper brain function. It makes sense that this is a possible deficiency in nursing/ postpartum Moms. It may even help with the symptoms of postpartum depression.
There are many omega-3 supplements out there, some are better quality than others. I would suggest speaking to a professional who is knowledgeable about supplements.
