Modern Mama was
founded by Connie Peters to help get Moms out of the house and connect with
other moms. She knew being a new mom can
be very isolating and wanted to offer all Moms whether married or single, first
time moms or seasoned veterans, a chance to meet other Moms and get that
illusive "me time". They have great local events in Edmonton, Calgary
and Vancouver. They even offer a nanny service at the events to make it easier
for moms to attend and still be close to their infants.

is proud to have the St. Albert Location as one of our family members. Timmie
Wanechko, the director of the St. Albert Modern Mama, has some great plans for
the up coming year including polishing up the membership program. She is a yoga and
fitness instructor, nutritionist, health and wellness blogger (at SassyWellness.ca) as well as a mom.
